Wayne Atkin realised that not having a website was possibly the reason that business was a little slow. The only issue was that, being a sole trader, he never had the time to get the information together for someone to create his online presence and show off his decorating talents.
When Wayne approached us, we discussed exactly what he wanted, a small, easily maintained brochure style website, with a management package included so that all he had to do was send us the photos and we could do the rest. Not a problem, that is exactly what we do.
The Solution
This website was to be based around an existing logo so had to incorporate the colour scheme throughout, we picked a variety of blues and tried to make it look as bright and modern as possible.
Creating a showcase gallery for all of Wayne's decorating work was the obvious starting point, we designed a gallery page with lightbox effect. A slideshow and portfolio was placed on the home page to introduce his business.
Wayne also had some fantastic comments from very happy customers and these needed to be shown, so we created a specific page to list his glowing feedback.
The contact page is an extremely important part of any website and we included Google maps and a Facebook feed alongside his contact details and a submissiom form
Within a very short period of time, Wayne started to get so busy that he is now booked up weeks in advance, not surprising as he is listed on the first page of Google for Chesterfield Decorators
We recently upgraded this website to be fully responsive to suit any device.
